I know this is all so terribly hard for you, and just want you to know I truly feel compassion for your situation...I can't even imagine being in your shoes. I just hope that you and your pup remain safe at all times, and can be left alone by this brother. You and your pup do not deserve to be treated badly, at any time!!! (((HUGS)))
