Today at 10:45am my beautiful Abby has gone to heaven to be with Didi her sister. My beautiful girl was 16 years old. Abby was one of the kindnest doggies ever, she loved children and was gentle with all. She came into our life as a very neglected, and unhappy girl, her previous owners had her caged all the time. Once with us she never ever went into a cage again. She needed love and attention so badly and we gave that to her, and she gave us all the love she had and more. She did so many funny and cute things, that would make you laugh. When Abby was younger she would let my daughter dress her up and wrap her like a baby. My daughter is Autistic, and very scared of dogs, Abby was the first dog she could get close to, and love and Abby was so calm and patient with her. She was just a loving beautiful girl. She has been sick for the past few weeks, and she was not going to get better, our vet said this was the best for her, after all the love she gave us we could not let her suffer, she went to sleep in my arms and I asked God to take her to Didi. I am so heartbroken and sad I can hardly get through the day. I loved my girl dearly, and always will, that is why I wanted to write about her today, even though it is so painful.
