We have just added another Yorkie to our home. Our Older yorkie is just about 9 years old. Let me tell you what happened in our house...lol.....we brought the little puppy home and Mya( 9years old) did not want anything to do with this puppy...she wanted it GONE....I was a little worried at first, so I phoned a friend of mine, and she said, it will take time, and make sure you (((Feed Mya first, give her hugs first, treats firsts ect))))....it took about 2 weeks and finally she started to slowly play with the pup.
Everyday she played with her more and more, and now she is the MOMMY of the house....LOL...she licks her, plays with her and sleeps with her.
Frankly, its the best decision I ever made....it has perked her up and I believe, It will lengthen Mya's life.....just sayin....
