1 Year Today I celebrate my longest lasting dog relationship with my Theodore Elmer! One year ago my mom was on a local newspaper online and spotted an ad for Yorkies. She showed me knowing I've always wanted one so I begged a few minutes then they gave in and called. The lady lived right by my brother which is approx 5-10 mins away so we went. This curly haired baby sat at my mom and I feet while the "standard" babe ran laps around the house. My mom scooped this curly baby up and pretended to like dogs. Eventually she passed him to me and my heart melted. That night began our life together.
Over the year you've been tossed between Grandma and I. Little did you know you had more chances than others. Over the year I tracked your growth from 5 lbs to 17 lbs to the current 15 lbs. I've had lots of people claim you're not full Yorkie, but they're right you're not. You're part human. Over the year you had lots of misfortunes like getting into vapor cig juice and electrocution. In your eyes I assume you add the pup shots and neutering to the list. Over the year I watched my parents fall in love. Over the year I loved you more than any other short term pet. I love you Theodore! You're my son and the light of my life! Here's to many more years!
