she was so tiny and so dark! and now 3 months later shes already silver! hardly any tan on her to speak of. silver and black and beautiful. Theres more pics in the Madlyn album on my profile page, but heres a couple so you can see her progression so far. Im having her spayed tomorrow since the dogs at the dog park are suddenly especially aware of her . Don't want any chihuahua's contaminating perfection...lol. She has such a sweet demeanor and she listens when i correct her and she is just absolutely wonderful. Toby loves her to pieces and Izzy has accepted her as long as Maddy stays clear when Izzy stakes claim to my lap. She has the loudest bark of them all and she knows no fear. She even challenges the steam cleaner. she doesnt bother to try and jump onto the bed, she just stands up and swims (lightly and rhythmically scratches/paws at the bed or our leg) until we pick her up. and when i put my arm down and say "Puppy UP!" she rests her tummy on my palm so i can lift her up one handed. She isn't very trusting when we hold her though. she clings for dear life and climbs up on my shoulder like a parrot. it's ridiculous. But she does pretty well in a bag. Although she refuses to stay small. I guess I just have a knack for picking out stout yorkies, cause she's already a bit longer than Izzy. I think Toby had a bit too much influence on her...lol. she weighs around 5 lbs now. The last time we went to the groomers i dropped off 3 yorkies and picked up 2 yorkies and a schnauzer. They cut her like a schnauzer and her silver hair just accentuated it . But shes still gorgeous regardless.
