It's 4:22 a.m. and I have been up all night with my 15 year old yorkie. he has been hacking and coughing all night, he was just able to cough up a tiny bit of phlem, but he sounds awful..sounds very congested. my husband is working night work and wont be home until 7:00 and I need to be at work at 6:30. is there anything I can give him to stop the cough until my husband can take him to the emergency vet? im wondering if its a cold or allergies? should I not let my 14 week old yorkie around him?
