I had 4 (now all have passed) girls, all TOM BOYS, if they didn't get their bows off their sisters did lol. Now I have an adopted BOY, I keep him in a top knot, no bows, he would take them out. Our moderator Ann suggester to a member who was having this issue, she uses a claw clip, I started using it and it worked out great, I now use special rubber bands you can purchase at a CVS pharmacy in the hair and accessory section , they do not pull the hair, I use hem for myself as well as for Cody. After a couple of weeks with the claw he got use to it, now he is use to the rubber band, I will be getting small bows soon, it will be a bit heavier on his head, I hope he will keep it on. Try the claw or the rubber bands everyday, she will get use to them. Good luck.
