When we first got Max Yoni took him to work every day. Her boss was fine with this but when the bus complex owner found out he sent out a note saying no pets. So we were going to have to leave Max home alone every day. That is when we got Sasha. They are bro and sis 8 months apart. Now he has someone to keep him company when we are not home. If Rambo is alone a lot then a companion may be a good thing. Each situation, each dog is different. Does he play well with other dogs?
