OP try walking your pup. Sometimes walking your pup is enough to get things moving. Also, some pups are picky about their "spot." It's a bit frustrating when you're in a rush, but that's why you gotta plan ahead. I have to make the time to walk Kaji to give him enough time to choose his poop spot. It can take anywhere from 2-15 mins for him. Frustrating but, he needs his space and time.
I agree. Similar to buddy belts which are supposed to discourage marking but when I used them with Teddy he just went in them. Since the smell was there, despite washing, he views the belt as portable toilet!

Patience and consistency during training is key.
