I think this is a bad idea. I don't think this is a good way to potty train.
OP try walking your pup. Sometimes walking your pup is enough to get things moving. Also, some pups are picky about their "spot." It's a bit frustrating when you're in a rush, but that's why you gotta plan ahead. I have to make the time to walk Kaji to give him enough time to choose his poop spot. It can take anywhere from 2-15 mins for him.

Frustrating but, he needs his space and time.
