Yvonne,

Are you talking about 30 grams of meat (venison or turkey) or 30 grams of protein? There are lots of things besides protein in meat. For example, an ounce of pan-broiled venison contains about 7.4 grams of protein. Cooked ground turkey is a little higher in protein at about 7.7 grams per ounce. For a healthy dog with no health issues that would mandate a low protein diet, 30 grams of actual protein makes more sense.

As for eggs, the egg white is just about a perfect protein and very clean and easily digestible. The yolk of the egg contains a lot of fat. When feeding eggs, I usually mix one or two yolks with three whites and scramble them up. Scrambled eggs store well, so if you only have one dog you can refrigerate the scrambled eggs and feed them over a few days. I have three, so three whites and two yolks is gobbled up in one meal.

I had a yorkie with a health condition that required a restricted protein diet for the last several years of his life, so I got pretty good at figuring out the protein amounts in many different foods. You can use nutritiondata.com to figure protein amounts if you are looking to restrict protein in home cooked meals.
