As you can tell by my sideways avatar pic I am the worst with uploading pics to this forum...I have issues with resizing the photos otherwise I would be posting pics all the time... Esp now... It seems to be the only nail that curls under a bit..I clipped all the others and this was the last one I went to and I was shocked. . The others grow straight out... I know it's not in too deep bc of the length of the nails...but it has pierced the pad. I'm tempted to clip it myself and the pull the piece out... Like a thorn... But I'm scared for infection or if I clip more of the pad by mistake... I'm sure the vets see it quite often and I'm also sure they will most likely send him home with an antibiotic... Feeling like the worst pet owner ever!! Such an unnecessary thing to happen. |
