Breeding well is not easy - nor should it be. I think the key is to ask yourself why you want to breed? How will breeding this dog bring into this world puppies that are very healthy good representatives of the breed?

Show breeders have little interest in a stud that has not been shown to his championship nor health tested for breeding.

Where do you start? Well of course register him with AKC. Then show him. Go to many many shows yourself to start to learn about proper structure and to meet other yorkie breeders. Join a Yorkie club - if that is not available to you a toy breed club and or just a general dog club.

In terms of this site - advertising for stud service is not allowed.

You have no idea right now if your boy is breed worthy. Learn about all the health problems of Yorkies - The Sick and Emergency forum will give you just oodles of information on the health woes of Yorkies.

As a stud owner you are ethically responsible for the lives you bring into this world. Are you prepared for that? Financially and emotionally?
