If you're getting "mad and impatient" at a tiny, untrained, trying-to-learn, young puppy...then the problem/issue is probably not with the puppy, but with you. He's probably very easily picking up on all that negative emotion toward him.

I wonder how long it took you to become potty trained...?

Puppies are *babies* and they take time to learn, develop, absorb. I'd suggest you re-read the potty training stickies in the General Training section.
