Hello.........I have the console seat also. When I was not using it I unhooked the front hook and slide it to the back. Both of my boys have outgrown it now. I have the Lookout II with the drawer. I keep mine in the backseat and the boys do just fine! They both love going bye-bye in the car! Good Luck!
