It seems as if she has a lump in her throat, or as if something physical is blocking her from being able to swallow or as if swallowing is hard for her or painful. That is the only way I can think of to describe what seems to be happening. Poor baby. She kind of jumps back as if a startle response while I hold her in my arms. It must be awful to be hungry and not be able to eat. Thanks so much for your input. Will check back soon.
I'm curious what makes you suspect something about her swallowing....? Bc any swallowing issues could indicate GERD.
