Either x-pen or Iris pen is perfect. As snoopymom suggested, put his crate in the pen with a comfy cushion and always leave the door to the crate open so he can get out for food, water and wee-wee pad, there is room in these pens for food / water bowls, wee-wee pads and still room for puppy to walk around in and play. The first night is always the hardest because they miss their mama, each night it will get better I can promise you that. It is VERY hard to hear a wee lil baby crying and not want to pick them up and cuddle them, but you have to be strong and let them cry it out.

Actually believe it or not he is already trained, really smart little guy, I did not budge the whole night last night when he cried like crazy, now when I put him in the crate he just sleeps away without a peep.

Funny thing is that I was not at all planning on getting a dog the day I got him, I just happened to come across this breeder which I did some homework on and lives pretty far from me and just picked him up.

Its amazing how the connection is just naturally there sometimes, as soon as I go to the litter of puppies, I had my eye on him and surely enough he out of them all comes over and starts to lick me lol.

Also my Breeder offers Lifetime Support and Guarantee on all her puppies, including free puppy insurance from the Vet which is pretty awesome.
