Default Cassie cannot eat-Help!

Hello all,
So sorry I haven't been here in such a longtime.Taking care of my dad who has alzheimers, takes so much time. But I am very worried about Cassie. She seems unable to eat. I'm not sure why or what is happening. Just to be clear, of course I am taking her to the ER for blood tests or other tests if needed. I never fool around with Cassie, she always goes to the Vet when there is even the hint of a problem, so no need to worry.

What I am looking for is if someone has any idea what might be the problem, or has seen this before. I can tell you several things. Firstly she had a UTI about two weeks ago, but two weeks on abx and a new test shows this is cleared up. And also, she was eating while she had the Uti

She gets her teeth cleaned either every month when we can or every other month, so I don't think it is her teeth.

Also, it does seem as if she is very hungry and wants to eat. When I am holding her in my arms to feed her she leans forward with her little mouth open and licks the food off my finger eagerly. But after a couple of licks she kind of jumps backward in my arms and turns her head away, signaling she can't or won't take any more. I have tried every king of food under the sun, and she responds well at first, but then seems to have to stop eating. It's almost as if it is a startle response. She seems to have an appetite and even barks for food, but then does not seem to be able to eat past a couple of licks. I am very very worried. This has been going on for awhile now...
Thank god she hasn't lost any weight, because I try to feed her all day long every hour or so, so she must be getting enough in her, but this can't go on. It's been the better part of a week, and I keep thinking she's going to be able to eat but then can't. So we are off to the ER. But I am desperate to understand this. Can someone please help. Has anyone ever had a hungry pup who seems to have an appetite but just can't eat. What is happening here? Please Please help. TIA
