90% of the breeders breed Biewers not BT. Kathy registers her dogs as Biewers. Biewers are not a mixed breed. I have introduced many a vet to Biewers and their standard. If you own or buy a rare breed dog, I believe it is your responsibility to educate your vet. Thanks, Dee, but don't quite understand your statements - BT believe their dogs are from a mix of dogs. What does BT stand for? Biewer Terrier? Does that mean that they are only supposed to be called Biewers, and not Biewer Terriers? Even the AKC calls them Biewer Terriers. I am confused. Not difficult for me to be these last few days. lol

I appreciate you letting me know that I need to educate the vets that she is not a mixed breed. I will do that. I will find something on the web that I can copy and give to them. Thanks!
