Oh dear! Thankfully he never really licks his paws, as I type this he is licking a pillow, this has only been a problem for a few years. To stop him I usual say "no" but he always finds a way or licks something else, if I pretend I'm going to lick him back he turns his head away lol! The only problem with a spray is I have birds and hedgehogs not sure how good it would be for them!

Very interesting, I've never heard of this! He does cough sometimes but he has a collapsing throat he was born with, whenever he is too excited he starts snorting and spluttering .
