OP Sharon, during one of our vet visits, a new tech referred to Max as "she" and "her" repeatedly. I corrected her each time and the tech replied, "With hair like that, looks like a girl."

She meant it as a funny compliment, but I didn't let it slide because to me that does speak to quality of care. If they can't get my dog's gender right, then I would worry about serious errors.
I think that's funny Kristin! I keep Emma in a long coat because she looks so pretty. When I had Troy in long coat I was sure to always have him in blue because people would confuse him with a girl.


To the OP, I think it'll all come in time with the training and your sanity will return.
