A Biewer is a BREED, I would insist my vet record my pup as a Biewer Terrier. Vets need to be aware there is now a NEW BREED which is known as a Biewer Terrier. Because my now passed girl weighed in as an adult at 17 lbs my vet thought she was a Silky because of her size. I told my vet her AKC papers read Yorkshire Terrier and that is what she is. I would be insulted if I owned a Biewer and my vet recorded my pup as a TERRIER MIX. If it were me, and the vet would not record my dogs proper breed I would find a vet that would, but that is just ME lol.
