Looks like he has a great coat. Puppy coats tend to be difficult to take care of, prone to tangling, even when they turn into the perfect silky adult coat later.
My Max's head was silver and then turned gold. Most Yorkies go through lots of color changes between the time they are born to the time their coats completely mature.
