I have to agree with above members, do not let him outside alone with no fence and no supervision. It takes but a second for them to either dash off chasing a squirrel or other prey. It takes a second for them to eat something that can make them sick or worse. It takes a second for a stray dog to attack him, not to mention birds of prey swooping down and carrying him away. I have a 4 foot high fence, still I do not let my boy out alone unsupervised. Some years back I had a pack of 3 and worked a full time job, I walked all 3 before I went to work, and walked them when I came home. Keep him on a leash and continue with what you are doing, better to be safe then sorry.
