To make his meal, I use 1 teaspoon of merrick canned puppy food (chicken), 1 teaspoon of chopped turkey meat, 1/2 teaspoon sweet potatoe, 1 teaspoon rice. Mash all together with fork, micro wave to warm, about 7 seconds. Last I grate 1/2 teaspoon romano or parmesan cheese on top. Jackson loves it and has gained a little weight I think. I think I probably need to add a couple of supplements to this. I am reading more about this now and maybe I will add Dinovite and LickOchops. Anyone have suggestions about the supplements? |
Holy cow that's only a tablespoon of food ! For a 5 lb yorkie?
Mine are 4.7 and eat 1/4 cup in the morning and 1/4 cup in the evening..

Balance it is a good supplement ....
And I would add more meat and forget the canned...
