So very true. I think forums are a microcosm of what is going on in the world these days. We all should take responsibility for our actions/words and understand that sometimes they may cause an unintended reaction. It does not make what we say right or wrong and it does not make the other person's reaction right or wrong. I grew up in the 60's and have always tried to practice the golden rule but I am shocked these days by people demanding to be respected while showing no respect for anyone else. It is a lesson I am constantly having to learn, as I like most people sometimes reacts emotionally but I have to own up to my behavior and try to not react and attack and to understand that is only someones opinion and it has no weight in regards to my self esteem.
