 15 year old yorkie having seizures
My 15 year old Chester starting having short (10 -15 second) seizuers about 6 months ago. The vet did a blood test and found low thryoid level. He was put on thryoid pill and it seemed to help for a few months. Now he's having siezures 4-5 times a week but always normal after and right back to being typical yorkie full of energy.
The siezures happen when he is excited and running up or down stairs or barking and running around in circles for attention. He just falls over and then gets right back up. Eats and drinks normally but am thinking may be a diet issue...
