Personally I hate drones and I think most people get them to be nosy. I've been to a few trade shows that have a lot of drone vendors and yes the boys love them. Their stands are always packed. They just love any new toys that are out. The ones in the lower price range like you said don't have a long fly time. The good ones are really pricey!
