That little doggie of mine lives up to the name chewie... even though it was after Chewbacca he takes it more literally lol so totally possible he could have scratched his throat with something. I do my best to keep him out of trouble but he seems to find it so easily. Outside he desperately tries to eat leaves, pebbles, or anything else so I keep him moving and don't let him sniff long.
The sheer number of things it could be alone was overwhelming, and even though he seems to be okay of course I am still worried lol.
I'm thinking about changing vets as well, I'm not sure if I'm just be overly sensitive but I don't feel they examined Chewie very well. No temp check, barely looked in his little mouth... again I know there are a lot of possibilities of what it could be and that makes it hard to narrow down, but I still question it.
Thanks for the response, as this is the first time the doggie isn't a family pet but my baby, it was horrible. However it was good to help me be more prepared for future issues that could happen (but I hope they don't!).
