When are yorkies typically done growing?
What do you guys *think* she might end up weighing fully grown?

Also, when is too late to tape ears? I'm not sure if I need to, bc it's just the tips of the ear that droop, the rest is up...am I correct in assuming that they should stand up just fine on their own?

TIA for any and all input!!! 😊
The growth rates really depends on bloodlines. Some will reach their adult size at 7 months and some can continue to grow until they are over a year old. My guess is that your girl will gain a couple more pounds but it is impossible to predict how much.

As for the ears, when puppies teeth the ears can go up and down. Keep the hair shaved on the tips of her ears and that will help her keep them up. You can also add around 1/4 teaspoon of unflavored gelatin to her food and that will help also. You can buy that at Wal-mart in the jello section. Most people say that if the ears are not up by 6 months it is to late to tape but I have read of instances where pups ears were taped at a later age and they stayed up. I really think it depends on the size of the pups ears and the thickness of them.
