We got our first yorkie, Dixie, back in early 1997 when she was 7 months old. We got her from some friends that were hobby breeders. It took awhile for Dixie to adjust since she had never been around other people that much. After a few months she became my little shadow and she won our hearts. Dixie passed away in 2012; she was just over 16 years old. She will always have a big place in our hearts. I do have her great grandson, Dillon, who is twelve and others that are related to my precious Dixie.
