My Boomer and Thumper also went to the groomers today. I actually had the student groom them because it was so much cheaper. At regular price it is $85 per dog where I paid $25 per dog.
She did a decent job. I wasn't expecting too much. I wanted them cut short so during the wintertime their hair can grow long. She nicked Boomer on his hind leg but by the time I got their there was no blood and only a small spot so I wasn't too upset. Boomer was happy. The place was extremely clean. I was even happy because Boomer usually is reactive with other dogs while on the leash but he was off leash with the other dogs and did beautifully. He only barked hello and went on his way! That was a first and I almost cried when I saw it.
