How on earth did he diagnose "food allergies" like that, bc that's not how they're diagnosed...?
Food allergies can really only be diagnosed via an elimination diet, which takes at least 6 weeks to complete.
Also, food allergies are very rare and only account for about 10% of dog allergies. It's WAY more common for a dog to have enviro allergies (pollens, grass, dust etc) and they're VERY common in yorkies especially.
