My yorkies also have food allergies I am dealing with. My Vet suggested giving them Fish Oil to help with the scratching and their coat. Also try a grain-free diet. I am using Nature's Balance Duck and Potato. Other brands are Blue Buffalo and Nature's Variety.
Only give them one protein at a time until you figure out exactly what he is allergic to. I would also stay away from chicken because that seems to be one protein I have learned dogs can be allergic to. |
