Welcome to Yorkie Talk. I'm glad you walked away from this breeder. Very scary that he is listed with AKC if he doesn't have access to a vet he trusts.
The process of looking for a good breeder and a healthy pup is challenging. Patience will pay off. Trust your instincts and your knowledge.
I won't tell you how long I searched, but it was well worth the wait.
