That is very common in poodles, but other breeds can have it too. They sound almost like a honk. One thing I did for mine was stand them up on their back legs and that stretches out the diapham which helps the breathing. Mine had it for years, tried different meds but my male had it the worst and this year at the age of 15 he could not breath on his own. We tried everything! So I lost my sweet Zeke. It can b serious but the best thing is for u to stay calm, pet them talk softly rub their neck gently. It can drive u nuts, but I wouldn't chg a thing with having my Zeke (except wishing his trachea was perfect) good luck!
