I have two, one Yorkie & one poodle, with all intentions of having another Yorkie in the next couple of years, I just haven't told my husband that yet
, I have had two for the past 5 years and cannot imagine just having 1 again...But many people have just 1 and love that situation, I would say it's whatever is in your heart and works for your family
