Some of you guys seen the pictures of the house I bought not too long ago. It has very nice wood floors. As nice as it is, it seems bit slippery. Is it possible to lay on a coat of anti-slip sealer without have to buff/scruff the floors? I don't think sanding is necessary since I'm not trying to refinish.
After searching google for the answer, I can't seem to find the simple yes/no to my question. But from what I've read, I think I just have to clean the floor really well and apply the sealer.
I live with an elderly mother who's already taken couple falls/slips so this is VERY important and would like to get done before we move in. I'd really appreciate any advice/feedback! |
I think the easiest fix would be to have mom wear those slipper socks with the tread on the bottoms! We get those at the hospital and they really work for not slipping across the slippery floors.
