Hi!!! I'm Kate, 30 years old, first time Yorkie owner.
I brought my baby girl Pixie home last week @ 18 weeks old & things could not be going better! My other dogs adore her- I also have 2 pit bull mixes and a french bulldog/boston terrier mix.
She's pretty much housebroken already & while she's not crazy about her crate, she doesn't make a peep at night.
I've never owned a dog that needs regular visits to the groomer, but I'm excited about all of the style options Yorkies have!
Her ears are still somewhat floppy and I'm thinking of taping them for a little to see if that helps, so if anyone has any tips about that I'd love to hear to hear them!
Pixie weighs 4.8 lbs at 19 weeks- what do y'all think she'll mature to?
