Sounds like you have found yourself a good vet. It is in the best interest of the dog to give only the rabies shot by itself and wait 2 weeks before giving the other shots. I have a dog and she cannot be vaccinated because the reaction she has I could loose her. The reaction does not always happen within half an hour after vaccine. In my dog's case it happens 3 hours after she is vaccinated. Also she was fine receiving vaccines for the first few years of her life and then it hit all of a sudden. I would never want anyone to experience what we went thru with this dog. |
