Well, after reading what Yorkiemom1 wrote, I am not sure what to say. Yorkiemom1 is an expert as far as I am concerned. I always agree with her. If I had read her post on the subject of spaying little ones I wouldn't have taken a chance with Zoey. Zoey weighs 2-1/2 pounds and is a year old. I had her spayed at 7 months and she almost died the first day after her spaying. The vet put a collar on her and she got dehydrated because and wouldn't eat or drink. I took it off her after a few hours, but it was too long a time without her eating or drinking so I had to rush her back to the vet's office and they gave her an IV........thank the Lord, they pulled her through. If you do decide to spay her, watch her like a hawk, and don't let them put a collar on her if she doesn't like it. They have little jerseys you can use to protect the incision. Whatever you decide......wishing you all the best with her.
