You are obscessing over the size of this puppy!!! Forget about it, trying to analyze it from every conceivable angle!!! It is a crap shoot! The breeder is the only one that can give you an "educated GUESS" on what that puppy is going to weigh...he has done that! Focus on getting a book to read....Yorkies For Dummies" is a great book about yorkies and owning one....you need to get this book and read it cover to cover! There is another one I like...."Yorkshire Terriers: A Smart Owners Guide"....get this one and read it cover to cover....there is a ton of information in both these books that will help keep your mind busy and your soul calm!!

Tell the 6 year old you have decided NOT to get a puppy.....my goodness, a child will torment the living daylights out of you until you get the puppy!!! You will have NO peace!!! Tell the child you will get a puppy for his 8th birthday.....that will give you a couple years of some quiet time!
