Has anyone read the book. "Yorkshire Terrier Puppy Month by Month?" I just bought it on Kindle and found this statement,
Quote:
Days 15 Through 28 At 15 days, your puppy will weigh between 10 and 14 ounces. She should be gaining weight daily, even if just a little. By her twenty-eighth day, she should be anywhere from 15 to 28 ounces.
What this means are the puppies fall exactly into this weight range at 2 weeks according to the book and it basically stated standard yorkies aren't to exceed 7 pounds if being shown. I'm thinking that their weight at 2 weeks probably doesn't matter. And it did explain further about the fear factor that comes on between 7-9 weeks and why it's important they not leave their mother before 12 weeks. I'll insist on that.
