I don't think most vets would be able to accommodate lay people watching their surgical procedures. Coming out of anesthesia is pretty scary looking as it is, I imagine a lot of concerned pet parents might inhibit professional medical management of a routine procedure (that is not a personal comment to you btw but I would imagine that could be a problem). I think Lilah's dental cleanings are around 600$? But we have a thing we pay every month that includes her yearly dental so I am not completely sure...it does include blood work pre op, and that is very important to make sure that their liver is functioning properly to process the anesthesia safely. I am so glad that you are making sure to keep up on dental health as these babies are known for having some challenges with their teeth. Welcome to yorkie talk!
