Cry I dont want to let go of my baby..options

Nobody knows my baby girl Mia like i do she has been with me since
she was 5 weeks old and now 1yr 9 months.
Im currently undergoing an economic hardship and have to stay at a friends house for some time
until I can financially stabilize myself , Ive reviewed my
budget and have determine this to happen mid-january ,
no later then february. Unfortunately , I am unable to take
both of my dog to this household. I am only able to take one,
and It was very hard to make this decision, the only reason
i can take my 8 month old dog max is because he's
more calm ,lazy and doesnt bother much which will
suit the place where im staying.

I've drained my eyes in tears thinking about my
babygirl MIA, it has been very hard for me to let her go.
If i could find someone to stay with my babygirl until
february I would be in great joy, however, I havent been
able to find that. I dont want to take her in ASPCA or any
shelter , in fear that my dog will not be treated the way
she deserves or will be schedule to kill.

I would really want to have her in new apartment when
I have it the beginning of the year, but my options for
someone to hold her for some time are merely slim. Does
anyone have an option for me?

1yr 9months about 8pounds 12-13 inches female
Toy Sized . She is spayed and microchipped. This is
about the hardest thing Id ever had to do. She was
groomed about 2 weeks ago. I have all her vaccines
up to date until July 2016 she does not need to renew.
Her rabies was done for 3 years in July so she doesn't
need that renewed until 2018. She will come with all her
clothes . She is potty trained. And i can be a txt or call
away if u need me to help you understand her along the
way. I love this dog as she was my first and Ive had her
since she was 5weeks old.

Im willing to supply the food and all her need until then,
I just dont have the space to hold her right now. As my
friend already has 2 dogs , and having four dogs in an
apartment is way too much for her, she is willing to let
me bring one only.

Please help. What can I do ? Im located in NYC.
