These little guys need a coat or sweater when they go outside in cold weather....especially for walks, etc., when they are out for more than a minute or two. (They are so little - and their hair is like ours - not a big wooly coat like my bichon has -- he could be a sled dog in Alaska and not get cold.)
I haven't had my pup outside a lot because it is winter where I live, but when we go out -- he absolutely hates to come back inside. He will literally fight me to stay outside - regardless of the weather.
