Thank you everyone. Magic was much much better this morning! 24hrs of strict crate rest = massage and hydrotherapy seem to do the trick. Hubby has strict orders not to allow Magic and Dara out in backyard together and absolutely no rough housing in the house.

I was able to examine his whole leg last night including his nails and there was no torn nail or pawpad and his joints seem to move normally,

One more epsom salt soak tonight and hopefully he is back to normal. I can only get the water up to a mid leg but that is okay. Although I still wish I had seen what had happened!
