Default Need advice about contract

The contract states the babies are guaranteed for one year against any life threatening congenital defects. (injury, illness, neglect, or patellas are not guaranteed.) If the defect is found, or death occurs, you must notify me immediately with written documents from your vet. If my vet agrees, I will replace the puppy from the next available litter. No money will be refunded and the breeder will not be responsible for any medical bills. Any courier fees will be paid by the purchaser. The breeder will not be responsible for any vet bills after the dog leaves our facility. Purchaser agrees to contact their own vet for further care and vaccinations.

It does not say anything about being given time to take the puppies to my vet for a checkup! Should it have that in the contract?
