I have a two year old male and I do trim his penis hairs. I find that if I don't I start to smell urine and it is not pleasant. I usually trim his belly, penis and around his anus every two weeks. I'm sure it not his favorite part of bath time but he lets me do it, my husband holds him ups and I trim using scissors with a guard on them.
