Oh yes she is chock full of the Dickens! Her saving grace is she truly loves just everyone well 99% of the time. after all she is a guard and protect breed - and a couple of times she has started to show that. She really is a delight most of the time. But a pure female all da way! She has Daddy wrapped and buffaloed around her not so small paw. Moms not so much.
We tanked our first obedience trial as soon as she went off lead. She decided she was done with this discipline and wanted and did go over to the spectators to say hi - bringing her somewhere 15-20 feet away from me when she should have been at a heel by my side! Then on the Recall or Come command - I knew with her speed just exactly what she would do.... Yup bounced off my chest to sit placidly in front of me! That SCAMP. She rocked me a foot back even though I was prepared for it....
And worse on the heel around she mouthed my hand and broke skin! Thankfully the judge did not see that but I did. It is a very determined and important NO NO with large breed dogs. We are working on that one. Well I am. She just can get so excited she forgets!
She is much loved and I am in no rush. She will get her CD title and CDX come hell or high water! LOL. She has no idea just how determined I can be!
